The HOMETOWN HEROES are an incredible four piece band, including 2 lead guitarists, bass player and drummer with vocal harmonies and a diverse list of popular cover songs played with exciting, masterful musicianship.
Professional musicians, guitarist, lead singer, Steve Ronsen ,  bassist Kevin Hawkins and guitarist  Dave Glatter  also have played as EDDIE MONEY's backing band, playing hits "TWO TICKETS TO PARADISE",  "BABY HOLD ON TO ME",
"I WANNA GO BACK" to name a few.  Steve is Eddie Money's Musical Director for his play "TWO TICKETS TO PARADISE".  Drummer Mike Eklund is a professional drum teacher.  

No strangers to big stages around the country,  including Westbury Music Fair here on Long Island, they have toured with their original band sharing the stage with Charlie Daniels Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, Gretchen Wilson, Delbert McClinton, Kentucky Headhunters, Asleep at the Wheel, Chris Cagle, Gary Allen, Dierks Bentley,  Kathy Mattea, Steve Wariner,  Randy Jackson of Zebra, Richie Cannata of Billy Joel’s band, Brian White,  Jessica Andrews, Suzy Boggus, The Kinleys, Stephanie Bentley, Victoria Shaw and others
Singer, guitarist Steve Ronsen and bassist, backup vocalist  Kevin Hawkins write music for movies commercials and tv shows on  MTV, CMT, ABC, FOX, WE and more.  Shows include “CRIBS” “AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL”, “DOUBLE SHOT AT LOVE”, “PARENTAL CONTROL”, “SECRET LIVES OF WOMEN” to name a few. They have a long history prior to HOMETOWN hEROES.  They have been writing all the songs for the multi – award winning band Quickdraw and a  USA Networks “Nashville Star” finalist with whom they
have also been touring.  Kevin and Steve were nominated for Best Independent Country Song of the Year 2004 for their song ”Say Goodbye; I’m Gone”.
